Rip off at Souvineer shop By: Bob Killoran On: 20/01/2010 Average Rating: YOUR RATING 0 Comments 198 Views Caption Whilst in London last June,I was charged 85pound for 15 pounds worth of souvineers.I signed my mastercard slip before reading the amount as I finished I pointed out their mistake but they would not reverse they would not transaction and said when I return home I was to rectify the situation. They refused to return the slip for me to destroy it,and then charged me the correct amount"" because the other slip will be cancelled""The dipute has still not been rectified and I have paid 100pounds for 15pounds worth. The stall to be wary of is accross the footpath by the London Eye operated by ECM Ltd who I have written to directly to no avail and I seek further help in recovering my money,so I advise any tourist to London to give the place a miss,It is extremely dissapointing that a simple reversal of bankcard transactions does not appear to have reached the London Stall, not a good treatment for a tourist and I am spreading my dissapointment to all my friends who are planning a holiday to London. The highlight of our trip was Chirk Marina (Black prince Canal boats )who are a credit to Britain, not like the London ripoff merchants.I made the mistake of passing over the slip instead of destroying it first. If they diddled me how many others?Caveat Emptor Images No Image Available
