My romantic cruise along the Thames with Bateaux London By: anna On: 21/07/2009 Average Rating: YOUR RATING 0 Comments 349 Views Caption Last week I went on the Premier Dinner Cruise with Bateaux London http://www.bateauxlondon.com/dining-river-cruise/dinner-river-cruises.asp The weather had been pretty rubbish all day but when we got down to embankment the sun started to crack through the clouds and I started to feel quite excited about going on this all inclusive dinner cruise, glammed up with a charming companion.As the boat pulled off from Embankment Pier we were offered a kir royale which was a great start after a stressful day of work. Slowly I started to relax into the tranquil ambience whilst choosing what I was going to tuck into for my 4 course meal! Next minute I realise we're going by the London Eye, the best view I've ever had of it in my 4 years in London so a photoshoot was called for and we found ourselves drinking and taking pics from the Thames of London's dramatic riverside... it was very special and surprisingly good fun.Food being served drag me back to my seat, but with a fine chardonnay and live music I was happy to watch the views from the dining area.. at least until Battersea Power Station...The evening finished off with a little dance and a whiskey and I was gutted to be pulling into embankment. A great experience and romantic evening out in London though - for tourists and locals alike... Images Total Images: 2
