NOT AT ALL!!! Only when we arrive, Robert told us that we had to leave the room by 9.15am!!!! the next morning, quite an early start for a sunday morning and forget the lay in!!!! He said to us that he had to clean the room for some new guests!! I dont think there were any other guests in the house as we were the only 2 people for breakfast and I did not see any cars parked. In addition, I have never heard other people!! So we could have had easily another room and could have had a lay in!!!!When we went for breakfast, I found my bill on the table!!!! what a welcome!!! The bill was for £68.8 and not for £62 which was verbally confirmed at the time of the booking!!!! I mentioned that to him and he said that he made a mistake by giving us the bedroom with ensuite instead of the room with bathroom at £62!!!! Even though it was his own mistake, he still charged my card in front of me for £68.8!!!! Wrong room, wrong price,!!! and the breakfast was very average!! I thought that customer service was very very poor!!!! Finding my bill on the breakfast table at 8.30am on a sunday morning with an increase on the charge!!!! AMAZING!!! I work in this industry and would NEVER do that to my client. I paid my bill and was out by 9.15am on a sunday morning!!! What was supposed to be a romantic week end with my partner, became a nightmare!!!I would not recommend this B&B at all. I dont think Robert has been fair with us, He does not have the customer skills required to be a perfect host!!! All he wanted it's my money!!! Please dont go there, he does not deserve it. Any B and B owner worth their salt would have honoured the price given on the phone A verbal contract is a contact. A leaving time of 10am at a B+B is acceptable but I would always be flexible unless it was a Saturaday when I often have wedding guests arriving ti change. Even so they would not be allowed in til 11am or would have to accept the room not having been serviced. Otherwise they should come the night before. 1 to 1 of 1
