i recently visited a little village called summerbridge a few miles from patley bridge, in harrogate. we stopped for lunch at The firs tearooms, otherwise known to locals as Ham & Eggs, and i can see why! its a small family run tearoom serving homemade traditional delights such as ham & eggs, Steak pies and other goodies. the array of homemade desserts were marvelous, pavloava, cheesecakes, homemade scones, sticky toffee sponge and custard. it was just what we needed, will defantiely be going back as the food was delicious and prices extremely reasonable for us older people.
