Imber village By: Walking_wonder On: 14/01/2010 Average Rating: YOUR RATING 0 Comments 396 Views Caption This is certainly an unusual place to go for a walk. Imber is a deserted village on Salisbury Plain, which was used to train troops in WWII. Not many people know about it, so it's great for a pretty quiet walk. I went on New Year's weekend - access is only permitted by the MOD a few days each year, so check beforehand. Great for birdwatching too. Images Total Images: 5
